Brand equip automobiles Lincoln HUD-display instead of the windshield
The Ford automobile company, one of its departments is the Lincoln, said it would equip all cars of this brand windshields with the new indicators (HUD). On the lower edge of the windshield will display information about the condition of the vehicle, at eye level will be AR-tips, illuminating road signs, markings and obstacles. In addition, the glass will be able to interact with the GPS, radars, sensors, and other cars.
In the new window based on a digital micromirror system, which is now seen developers transitional link between conventional indicators of the windshield and a full AR-display, built-in auto glass. The first cars equipped with the development of Continent, will appear in the next, in 2018. To put it yet will only Lincoln Navigator, but over time will convert the other models.
