The mysterious stone spheres in Costa Rica

In the thirties of the last century, during the cleaning of the jungle for the future of the banana plantations, employees of the company "United Fruit Company", discovered a very strange stone balls, burrowing into the ground.

As a result, more than three hundred of these balls were found. They began to appear on the lawns of the wealthy estates. Part has been destroyed during transport, and some smashed greedy seekers of gold inside the stone balls. Until the authorities intervened in the assignment process, dozens of balls have already been destroyed. Most of these stones, researchers found in a region called Diquis Delta. Spheres have completely different dimensions from a few centimeters and ending with two-meter diameter blocks. Tentatively, the stones were carved in the sixth century BC. Archaeologists still have not put forward any adequate version targets the creation of such areas. All the balls are under the protection of the UN and UNESCO.
