Fall on the Kola Peninsula (part 2)

• on the Kola Peninsula Autumn (Part 2)

Gorged itself salmon, ruff, halibut, toothfish and something else, drinking it all a couple carafes of water from the source, I rolled out to shoot the northern lights. Together with Vadim we got twenty meters to the shore of the bay. Until the water was still about ten meters. It was dark. Only in the sky among the clouds shining radiance. As foreground, I used some puddles and large stones.

Suddenly I realized that I was standing in water. Water was everywhere, but only that it was a pebble. Tide! At first we tried to build a bridge of stones (in the dark), but quickly realized that the only way - to escape to the shore on the water ...

It was the night of the first day. In the morning we sat on the quad and went to the very north of the peninsula Rybachy - the northernmost point of the European part of Russia.

And that's our goal - German Cape - the northernmost point of Europe Russia. As it turned out, incredibly blocked by the military. As bud came the order qualitatively to litter the whole surrounding area, that there is no place clean. Sorry, I did not do pictures - I thought to have time on the way back. But we returned by another road.

The bravest of us swam in the Barents Sea. Although swimming is difficult to call - leaving us in waves over the rocks and cramped from the cold all that is possible.
