Overall, the top ten cities was not a surprise, compared with last year's rating.

Since this rating does not use such criteria as cost of living, analysts Global Finance took the results of other studies - Mercer Quality of Living Survey 2015 and Monocle's Quality of Life Survey 2015. They used data from all three ratings, and made up their own rating of the top ten for urban life.
