Walk in the Clouds
• Walk in the Clouds
Climate Engineering Company Transsolar together with the Japanese architectural firm Tetsuo Kondo Architects explore the poetic nature of the clouds in the project Cloudscapes, realized in Venice, Italy. To fully experience the immaterial lightness of clouds, it creates a tortuous system of ramps, allowing the audience to touch the clouds, physically passing through them. The project aims to show the three climatic layers: at ground level the air is cold and dry, half-way up the ramp among the clouds the air becomes warm and moist, well above the cloud layer he was hot and dry. Clouds are important elements in our atmosphere, framing an open space and filtering the sunlight. They are the visible part of the water cycle and water carrying the source of life. The ability to touch, feel and walk through the clouds - a concept borrowed from many of our fantasies. Looking in the windows of the aircraft, flying high above the ground, we often dream about it. Cloudscapes project helps people, and the clouds finally meet.
