After the unavailability of the media site we’ve set up last year, we’ve been working on a new media site all fresh and original. We’re still working on it, but we’ve had it roughly 5% done. I’ve uploaded almost all videos related to Mary’s 2006 film Bobby, and we invite you to check it out. Please comment on what you think of it so far. If there are any problems with the media site, then please tell us.

EDIT: We now have two new affiliaties to join the family. All two sites are of Mary’s co-stars at one point or another. Say hello to Shia LaBeouf (Bobby) and Simon Baker (The Ring Two)! Expect more to come in the next couple of days.

It has been posted almost a month ago, but this video has only been brought to my attention, oh say, 5 minutes ago. Film24 has an exclusive – well, not so anymore – preview of Make It Happen up in YouTube. Fans who has not yet seen the movie might be interested in watching. In short, the preview is a 4-minutes montage of film clips interlaced with interviews with Mary from the press junket.

Hold on to your hats! Make It Happen is released in the UK today! Catch the movie, and swing by to tell us your opinions on the movie by posting a comment to this article. Unfortunately, I live all the way down in Malaysia, but Ally will definitely be watching it and sending us his thoughts soon. I’m sure us Mary fans will be delighted to see Miss Winstead in an altogether very different role from those which she’s held so far in her movie career.

For us non-UK residence, Make It Happen plays in Australia and Singapore on September the 4th, debuts 26th September in Ireland and opens next year’s 5th of February in the Netherlands. No official US date has been divulged as of yet, but it is still penned down for a fall 2008 release.

But in the meantime, we have some promotional TV spots, which Ally has recorded, and I have capped, to keep the rest of us patiently awaiting the film.

The US promotion is starting to pick up as the Weinstein Company have released the first theatrical trailer for Make it Happen. The trailer is similar, but much longer than the UK version and features more of Mary dancing, fantastically I must say! Also, we get to learn a bit more about Lauryn’s past. If anyone wants to know what the song played in both trailers for Make it Happen is, it is called We Rule by Ak’Sent. Finally, MTV have got their own site for Make it Happen, click here for it.
