Alexandre Gama began at the bottom of the advertising world and managed to work his way to the top through hard work and perseverance. After spending 20 years working for various agencies as a copywriter and creative director, Gama started his own advertising agency called Neogama in 1999.
Gama was widely considered one of his generation’s most talented Brazilian copywriters when he was hired as CEO and COO of Young and Rubicam in 1996 and led the firm until starting Neogama. His work has been widely regarded all across the world and he was the first Latin American asked to present a Masterclass at the Cannes Film Festival. Alexandre also became the first Brazilian to be placed on the Publicis Groupe Global Creative Board.
Gama has placed himself among the ranks of the most creative advertising minds of the 21st Century. Against overwhelming odds, Gama continues to break barriers in the industry.
